Medications

Your medications are very important in the control of your diabetes.

Make sure you understand why you are taking the medication you are on and the effect it will have on your condition.

If you are going away from home, make sure you take sufficient medication with you.  If there is a chance you may be away longer than you anticipate, ensure you take your repeat medication list with you.  The repeat medication list is produced at the same time as your prescription. 

With your repeat medication list, you will be able to get any further supplies from a local practice as a temporary resident or emergency supplies from a pharmacist.
